Diamond Merchants Face A Dull Christmas Due To The Recession Fears

Due to the country's ongoing economic crisis, Christmas orders for cut and polished diamonds from the United States have decreased by 50% from the previous year.

Orders are typically shipped out by November, according to diamond exporters, but this year's orders have not yet arrived from the US, which has merchants worried. The difficulties faced by India's diamond dealers have been made worse by China's zero-Covid policy, which has stopped the nation from receiving shipments of large-sized diamonds.
