The singer was chastised for the 40-year age difference between the two, but Cher stated in Twitter that she was unconcerned about it.
Her most recent tweet features a sparkling ring within a box with the text, “There r no words, alexander, A.E.” Cher clarified in a subsequent tweet that they are his hands clutching the box.
