Pablo Lucker, an Amsterdam-based artist who specialises in interdisciplinary modern art, is utilising “the surface of a diamond as the canvas for his current piece,” according to IDEX Online.
According to the story, Lucker collaborated with high-end jewellers Trophy by Gassan in Amsterdam to produce a series of “heart patterns on the table of 12 one-carat stones, and a “crown diamond” of 2.75-carats” using laser technology. The 2.75-carat stones cost $134,000, while the 1-carat stones cost $31,000. All 13 diamonds in the HE(ART) Diamond Collection are GASSAN 121, which has 64 more facets than normal diamonds.
