Nothing compares to the glistening canvas of a star-studded night sky. This was the brief given to Chopard artisans when they created the new rendition of L'Heure du Diamant timepieces. Their casings are ringed by a crown of 36 diamonds gently placed in a spectacular arrangement and crafted from ethical 18-carat white or rose gold (seen here).
This series' four models mix the delicacy of mother-of-pearl with the clarity of diamonds. The in-house Chopard 09.01-C movement has a 42-hour power reserve and is complemented with a leather strap or a bracelet with ethical gold links.
Crown setting, which enhances the brilliance of each stone by producing eternally sparkling reflections, accentuates the immaculate purity of the diamonds. This method, paired with the alternate sizes of round-cut diamonds, makes it possible to make a razzle-dazzle star.
Fine, leaf-shaped hands elegantly designate the hours and minutes, which are accented by 12 diamond-set hour-markers. You now understand why diamonds are the gem world's big stars.
